Kobe Bryant and Magic Johnson speak at Michael Jackson Memorial
Kobe Bryant spoke first and talked about how nobody gave that Michael Jackson did. Kobe also talked about the humanitarian Michael, his humble roots from Gary, IN and how he made the Gunis Book of World Records for most charities supported by a pop star. Kobe ended by saying that Michael will live with us forever.
Magic Johnson took the mic next. Magic talked about getting to know the Jackson family 30 years ago. Magic talked about how Michael always had control of the band, his brothers and the fans. He talked about Michael being the greatest entertainer ever. Magic talked about going to Michael Jackson’s house house because Michael had asked Magic to appear in his video for ‘Do you Remember the time’. Magic being Magic made the crowd laugh as only Magic can do as such a morning time. Magic talked about how the chef brought him out the grilled chicken but then brought out Michael some KFC and how Magic could not believe that Michael ate Kentucky Fried Chicken. Magic ended his speech by saying may god continue to bless you Michael.
