Detroit Pistons Vs Orlando Magic Recap

Published by mrhobbie at 1:32 pm under Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic Edit This

The Pistons had three of their players score in double figures to hold off the Orlando Magic in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Ben Gordon scored 23 for the Pistons while Stuckey and Bynum each scored 20 a piece. Prince and Hamilton were both sidelined for this game and by missing this game, Prince’s streak of 496 consecutive games played was snapped. Did we think he was going to get A.C. Green’s record? 496 games still shows you what a hard worker Prince is when it is tough for most players to even play all 82 games of a regular season. The Pistons got a real confidence boost in this game by beating the Orlando Magic 85-80 and turned the super center on the Magic into, well……….

Dwight Howard only scored 8 points, had 5 rebounds and fouled out of the game in 17 minutes. As I’ve always said, Dwight Howard will be a great player one day but he still needs lots of experience to get to the next level. Dwight is not the man you want to be the number one go to guy on your team at this point of his career. Vince Carter helped all he could and scored 15 points for the Magic but he didn’t have much help around him to feed off of. This game was the first lossof the season for the Magic as they are now 3-1. Have no fear Magic fans!
