Utah Jazz Vs Dallas Mavericks - Dirk Nowitski scores 29 points in 4th quarter!
Dirk Nowitski had a phenomenal 40 point performance as he would lead the Dallas Mavericks to a 96-85 victory over the Utah Jazz. Scoring 40 points in a game is something that is always a proud achievement by any player but when someone does it the way Nowitski did it last need all someone can do is stand there amazed with their mouth open. Dirk scored 29 of his points in the 4th quarter alone as the Mavericks completed a come from behind victory. He was 7-8 from the field in the th and was 14-14 from the free throw line. The previous Dallas record for points in a quarter was 24 set by Mark Aguirre way back in 1984. Jason Kidd also was solid for the Mavericks scoring 19 points.
Deron Williams had 22 points to lead the Jazz. The Jazz didn’t play a horrible game but unfortunately for them this was Dirk’s night.
